We are a non-profit organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization. This allows us to issue tax receipts to governments for tax deductions.

We are a non-profit organization founded in 1998 and we support
Big Brothers Big Sisters
through our clothing and household goods collection activities. The funds we raise are used to finance youth mentoring programs to help young people realize their full potential and equip them for the future.

Recovered clothing and household goods are sold at the Village des Valeurs or for export. Surpluses generated by these activities are used to support youth mentoring.

No, we only accept items that are clean and in good condition.

To keep costs to a minimum, we make regular visits to the areas we serve, about four times a year. To take advantage of this service, please complete the home collection form. Once you've registered, we'll send you an e-mail giving you two weeks' notice of our visit to your area.

However, you can still drop off your materials at our many collection boxes, our La Collecte-Lorraine donation center and our warehouse in Montréal-Nord.

If you have more than 50 boxes or bags, please contact us by phone during office hours.

Please use bags and boxes with special care for fragile items. Please mark your donation boxes and bags with FLC for "Fondation La Collecte".

You don't have to be at home. We invite you to leave your donations outside your door in boxes or bags marked FLC for "Fondation la Collecte" before 8:00 a.m. on collection day. It's impossible for us to say exactly when our driver will arrive: hence the time slot between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

You can leave them either in the entrance of the building/lobby or in front of the door of your apartment or condo, as long as you can open them remotely with our employee.

Absolutely, a reminder e-mail will be sent to you two or three days before the collection day. What's more, you'll receive an e-mail announcing our visit to your area two weeks before the scheduled pickup.
